Finestrat Area

Finestrat was once a Muslim settlement and is now a typical Mediterranean village. It is surrounded by lush fields of fruit and almond trees.

The parochial church of Saint Bertomeu is to be found in the centre of Finestrat and its lofty belfry stands high above the town. A festival in honour of Saint Bertomeu is celebrated in August each year. Finestrat's Font del Molí is particularly attractive and water pours from its fifteen spouts.

Finestrat offers a wide choice of restaurants catering for both traditional European and more local Spanish cuisine.
